CONSTRUCTION TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

This module introduces key building codes relevant to residential and commercial construction in Canada. Trainees will learn proper construction methods, material standards, and how to ensure code compliance during various stages of a build. 

This module focuses on workplace safety protocols, personal protective equipment (PPE), and hazard identification on job sites. Emphasis is placed on understanding workers' rights and responsibilities under occupational health and safety legislation. 

Trainees will develop essential communication skills for interacting with supervisors, coworkers, and clients. The module also covers how to maintain accurate job logs, time sheets, and basic site documentation. 

This module equips students with soft skills such as teamwork, punctuality, problem-solving, and time management. It supports the development of a reliable and professional work ethic essential for long-term success in the trades. 

Outlines what construction employers expect in terms of professionalism, reliability, and communication. Learners gain insight into workplace behavior, time management, and employer feedback. 

 At the end of the training, learners will complete a final exam to assess their understanding and overall job readiness. This includes a basic English proficiency assessment (not IELTS) to help align trainees with appropriate job placement opportunities. Successful candidates will receive a Construction Job Readiness Training Certification upon completion. 

Guides learners in creating a professional construction resume that highlights relevant skills and experience. Includes formatting tips, content guidance, and sample templates. 

Prepares candidates for job interviews through practice questions, roleplay, and strategies to answer confidently. Focus is placed on communication style, dress code, and employer expectations. 

Upon course completion, participants' resumes are submitted to trusted employer and recruitment partners in Canada and globally. This step supports direct pathways to job opportunities in the construction  sector across multiple regions. 

PAY PER MODULE  - COST IS $100 USD FOR EACH MODULE (X 5)

Skills Academy Canada will provide a clear pathway to job placement or immigration in key global regions including Canada, the USA, Europe, South America, Australia, and the Gulf Region. Through our training, certification, and employer network, participants gain the qualifications and support needed to pursue international employment or skilled migration opportunities.
