This module covers the day-to-day operations of an office or program, including scheduling, filing systems, supply management, and workflow optimization. Trainees will learn how to streamline tasks for efficiency while maintaining organized and professional environments.
Participants will develop clear and effective communication skills for internal and external correspondence. This includes writing emails, drafting official letters, handling inquiries, and conducting professional interactions across phone and in-person channels.
This module introduces basic tools for data entry, tracking, and generating reports using spreadsheets, cloud platforms, and databases. Emphasis is placed on accuracy, confidentiality, and timely reporting to support organizational decision-making.
Trainees will learn to handle client interactions with professionalism, empathy, and tact. The module includes techniques for diffusing tense situations, responding to complaints, and ensuring positive customer or client experiences.
This module reviews organizational policies, codes of conduct, and labor standards, including inclusivity, privacy, and professional ethics. Participants will also explore the importance of cultural sensitivity in a diverse, modern work environment.
At the end of the training, learners will complete a final exam to assess their understanding and overall job readiness. This includes a basic English proficiency assessment (not IELTS) to help align trainees with appropriate job placement opportunities. Successful candidates will receive a Administrator Job Readiness Training Certification upon completion.
Guides learners in creating a professional administrator’s resume that highlights relevant skills and experience. Includes formatting tips, content guidance, and sample templates.
Prepares candidates for job interviews through practice questions, roleplay, and strategies to answer confidently. Focus is placed on communication style, dress code, and employer expectations.
Upon course completion, participants' resumes are submitted to trusted employer and recruitment partners in Canada and globally. This step supports direct pathways to job opportunities in the office administration sector across multiple regions.
Skills Academy Canada will provide a clear pathway to job placement or immigration in key global regions including Canada, the USA, Europe, South America, Australia, and the Gulf Region. Through our training, certification, and employer network, participants gain the qualifications and support needed to pursue international employment or skilled migration opportunities.
